Christian Eriksen is back in training. He did it in the sports center of Odense, the team that launched him in the world of the greats. Between light athletic work and some football, the Dane has at least started to set foot on the pitch again, and was able to do so by relying on the structures of his former club. In Italy, in fact, he would not have been able to because of the subcutaneous defibrillator implanted after the cardiac arrest last June 12, which from a legal point of view does not allow him to take the field in our country.
Soon, probably at the beginning of next week, the opinion of the Italian doctors on the suitability will also arrive. The outcome, however, is in fact obvious: Eriksen will not be able to compete in Italy. Martin Schoots, agent of the Dane, spoke about the condition of his client: “Christian is working on his recovery. When he is at home, he can use the facilities of the Odense. A great gesture on the part of his former team”.
