On Monday, PSG announced that the tests carried out had shown a sprain of the left ankle – the ligaments were also affected. “You can expect downtime of six to eight weeks”, so the French top club, which will initiate further investigations in three days to clarify the further development at Neymar.
The 29-year-old should therefore return in mid / end of January – and thus be fit in time for the knockout phase of the Champions League.
