The bad winter weather between today and tomorrow it will involve all of Italy, with steep temperatures even in the South and in the Islands. There name, which has already whitened the Alps and the northern Apennines, today will also reach central Apennine areas and the reliefs of Sardinia while tomorrow it will also make its appearance in the southern Apennines. There will be phases of bad weather with rains and thunderstorms – say the meteorologists of IconaMeteo.it -, in particular in the Center-South and in the Islands. Also watch out for strong winds which will blow above all on the central-southern regions, Sardinia and Sicily. From Tuesday tendency to a general attenuation of bad weather but with frosts even in the plains in the North and from next night also at the Center.
Weather for the next few hours: bad winter weather all over Italy
In the North-West regions there is a tendency to gradual clearing with more persistent clouds on the border Alps and some snow in those of the Aosta Valley. Ample clearing in the afternoon also in Emilia Romagna and partial clearings along the coasts of the central Adriatic. Cloudy or very cloudy in the rest of Italy; some rain or showers in Friuli Venezia Giulia and upper Veneto, with snowfall on the reliefs over 600/800 meters, attenuating in the evening. Showers and thunderstorms on west Sardinia, Tyrrhenian regions, western and southern sectors of Sicily, also of strong intensity in Campania, Lucania and upper Calabria; intermittent and more isolated rains in Tuscany, Umbria, and Puglia. Snowfall in the Apennines, over 700-1000 meters on the Tuscan and Umbrian-Marche hills, from 1000-1200 meters on the rest of the central Apennines; snow also in Sardinia up to 800 meters.
Temperatures without great variations in the extreme south and in Sicily, with values up to 17-18 degrees in the Adriatic and Ionian sector; in sharp decline in the rest of Italy.
Winds from tense to strong Mistral in Sardinia, from west on Ligurian and Tyrrhenian, Libeccio on Sicily, Ionian Sea and Puglia.

Weather for tomorrow, Monday 29th November
Mostly sunny weather in the North, apart from some densification on the border sectors of the Alps and in Romagna. Partial brightening also in Tuscany starting from the northern sector. In the rest of the country, the sky ranges from cloudy to very cloudy with scattered rainfall in the morning, more widespread along the Tyrrhenian side and in the western and internal sectors of the islands, in the afternoon over much of the Center excluding Tuscany, in Campania, Calabria, Sicily, Sardinia and, more in isolation, also on Puglia and Basilicata. The rains will be more intense and of a downpour or thunderstorm along the Tyrrhenian coasts, in the mid Adriatic sector, in the west of Sardinia and along the coasts of Sicily except the Ionian ones. A further lowering of the snow level is expected: up to 500 meters on the Sardinian hills, around 600-800 meters in the central Apennines, from 900 to 1200 meters
on the southern Apennines and on the reliefs of Sicily.
Temperatures further decreasing throughout Italy: minimum locally below zero in the plains in the North-West, maximum below the average in the Center-South.
Winds: up to stormy Mistral wind on Sardinia, from west or south-west on the lower Tyrrhenian, Sicily and Ionian, with gusts of over 100 km / h on the Sardinian Sea; up to northern theses on the Ligurian; Moderate Bora on the upper Adriatic; windy even in the Alps.
Seas: the Sardinian Sea and the Canals of the Islands are very agitated; agitated lower Tyrrhenian and lower Ionian; very rough middle Tyrrhenian, high Ionian and low Ligurian; moved the remaining basins.

Bright spells will prevail since morning in most of Centronord, Campania and Sardinia; some clouds will remain leaning against the Alps, especially the border ones with some light snowfall between afternoon and evening in Alto Adige; residual cloud cover at the beginning of the day along the coasts of Abruzzo and Molise with some rain on the Molise coasts; temporary cloud cover in the west of Sardinia.
Over the rest of the South, clouds waning over the course of the day; in the morning residual precipitations on the coast of central-northern Puglia, in the south of Calabria and in the north-east of Sicily with snow on the mountains above 800-900 m. Clearings gradually more widespread from the afternoon with some more persistent clouds in the north of Sicily.
Temperatures mostly falling in the minimum with possible frosts even in the plains in the North; afternoon highs slightly up in Emilia, Sardinia, Tyrrhenian regions.
Windy due to northerly winds, mostly from Mistral, on the Adriatic, South and Islands, up to strong in particular on the lower Adriatic, the upper Ionian, Sardinia and the Sicilian Channel.
