A setback for Manchester United’s move to appoint PSG coach Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino. When Intermediaries approached PSG for United to acquire Pochettino, the French club reportedly turned it down.
Solshair was sacked as United’s manager following his side’s defeat to Watford in the Premier League. United are currently looking to find a new interim coach until the end of the season, followed by a new permanent coach in the summer. However, United are ready to hire a permanent coach as soon as they find suitable players.
Pochettino is one of the coaches United are considering for a permanent coaching position. However, PSG are not interested in releasing him to another team during the season ESPN Reporting.
At the same time, United are currently focusing on bringing in a temporary coach. United have reportedly approached French coach Rudy Garcia, who has previously coached Lille, Marseille and Lyon. Former Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has also been named in United’s shortlist. Ralph Ragnick, head of sports and development at Locomotive Moscow, is also under consideration by United.
