In the course of the second Corona winter wave, the Bundesliga clubs have to reckon with drastic audience restrictions again. In Bavaria, a new regulation is to come into force next week.
The Free State of Bavaria was the first federal state to announce a short-term restriction of spectator capacities at sporting events. As Prime Minister Markus Söder said on Friday, the stadiums and halls should be used up to a maximum of 25 percent by December 15.

The measures are to be decided on next Tuesday. For FC Bayern this would mean, for example, that just under 19,000 spectators are allowed in the Allianz Arena. The 2GPlus rules should apply. Means: Only vaccinated or recovered viewers with a current negative corona test are allowed.
If the seven-day incidence in an area is over 1,000, “everything should be closed”, according to Söder. At the press conference, Söder also confirmed that he was advocating a 2G model for football professionals.
