With the FB Mondial HPS125i Ubbiali, the Italian FB Mondial pays a beautiful tribute to Carlo Ubbiali, the former driver who died in 2020 and who became champion in 1951 with Mondial.
That world title in the 125cc now dates from seventy years ago, a moment to pay tribute to the Italian. And FB Mondial, which today only produces light motorcycles, has succeeded particularly well with this special version of the HPS125i. The machine has the characteristic white-blue-gold color scheme of the time and also bears the number 9 on the side shields. That does not refer to Ubbiali’s starting number, but to the number of world titles he won. Further eye-catchers are the blue saddle and the black wire-spoke rims. The HPS125i, suitable for the A1 driving license, also has a number of novelties, which can also be found on the standard model, such as a modified Dell’Orto injection system, a TFT dashboard, a new ABS system and a higher and wider handlebars. The Ubbiali version is available for € 5,575 (Belgium € 4,948). Information: www.fbmondial.nl
