Security has been tightened up considerably since the robbery, but Peter won’t let himself be defeated. He does not understand that he is on a death list as he writes in his book. “We sometimes have shit at the park and then someone has to be evicted, but then they don’t behave. Then you get all kinds of threats, but I never expected this,” he tells Johnny.
After the news of the death list, Peter stayed inside for a month. “Then the power went out the first night. I went outside, because of course I’m not afraid of anyone. There was nothing to be found: there was a short circuit in the street lighting.”
The Gillis family has been under protection for some time. Mark too, except when he might need it most. He sits at the table with Johnny to talk about the traumatic event again. “I was surprised at 2:45 am by three men who attacked me. I had just finished work and had a security guard with me, but I had sent him to report noise pollution. I thought: going home alone won’t hurt. ”
Mark can still vividly remember the moment. “It’s not pleasant. In total, the robbery lasted half an hour.” The reality star also says that luckily he is doing a little better, but that he slept pretty badly the first few nights. Going out at night is also ‘quite difficult’.
In the video below, the Mass is Cashstar more about the threats.
