CFMoto recently announced that it will participate in the Moto3 GPs under its ‘own flag’ with KTM technology next season. But we have recently seen that the Chinese themselves can do something with the 700 CL-X. For fans of the 400 segment, they have now put the ultimate wet dream concept on their wheels with this SR-C21.
The concept was designed by the Italian Modena 40 studio and is fitted with carbon fairings all around, with of course the nowadays almost obligatory winglets and a very aerodynamic-looking front mudguard. Furthermore, many parts of ‘brands that matter’, such as Brembo, Öhlins and SC-Project. According to CFMoto, a 400cc two-cylinder is hidden behind the fairing. Probably from KTM, as the Austrian brand and CFMoto are partners. A production version is expected sometime next year, but it is not yet entirely certain whether we will also see it in Europe. Fingers crossed, because it does look promising.
