One of the reasons for the mission’s delay is the lawsuit filed by space company Blue Origin against multi-billionaire Jeff Bezos over the construction of NASA’s lunar lander. The Amazon founder disagreed that SpaceX, the company of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, should be allowed to build the craft, but he lost that case last week.

SpaceX is developing a spacecraft that will allow astronauts to set foot on the moon again for the first time since 1972. A woman and a non-white man are planned to land on the moon by 2025. A manned mission to Mars should follow at a later stage.
