Fatal accident in San Quirico, on the heights of Genoa. A worker died while working on a construction site. The 118 health workers intervened on the spot but there was nothing to do for the man. According to an initial reconstruction, the 48-year-old worker was crushed by large pipes that broke off from a crane that was moving them. From the first information a belt would have broken which made them fall.
The place where the fatal accident took place is the Sigemi mineral oil depot, in via Girolamo Gastaldi, in San Quirico. The prosecutor Stefano Puppo has ordered the seizure of the area and is on his way to the scene for the findings. Also present were the firefighters for technical checks.
