The RPG from the authors of Divinity: Original Sin lets you explore new settings and embody Wizards.
If you were already dying to enjoy new content in Baldur’s Gate 3, you will be happy to know that you can download the update 6, which has been described by Larian Studios as the largest to date; And they don’t say it just to say The long-awaited new RPG from the authors of Divinity: Original Sin expands gameplay options with a new class, plus new spells and even an extra region to live more adventures.
Grymforge Comes to Baldur’s Gate 3 Promising More Missions and Exciting BattlesThis new scenario transports us to Grymforge, a “fortress dedicated to the goddess Shar” in which we will have the opportunity to enjoy more missions and exciting combats, as well as meet mysterious characters. “An ideal place to put our magical skills in the skin of the Sorcerers, which add to the action of Baldur’s Gate 3 along with new spells for the rest of the characters related to magic.
One of the most striking peculiarities of the Sorcerer is that it allows modifying its magic during the course of combat by altering its duration, range or even power. Fans of the Dungeons & Dragons universe recognize him as the “metamagia”: “with it you can increase the range of spells, or hit two enemies simultaneously, among other powerful variations of your spells, making you a powerful and unpredictable element during battles”, reads the official description of this new magical art.
But true to the essence of the Baldur’s Gate saga, the Sorcerer is accompanied by several subclasses with its own peculiarities: Wild magic, which allies with chance to cause all sorts of unexpected effects on the battlefield, and the Draconic Bloodline, which uses the power of dragons to destroy enemies with fire, cold and even acid. This subclass also allows you to customize your character with dragon scales.
If magic is your thing, you will also love to know that Larian Studios’ RPG is expanded with five new spells, with some as interesting as the confusion that is capable of causing madness among enemies, causing them to attack their own companions. On the other hand, the melee and long-distance combat actions increase, and the graphics have even been improved by adopting not only Nvidia’s DLSS scaling, but also AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution.
The authors of the must-see Divinity: Original Sin 2 have redesigned the lighting system to make the world of the Forgotten Realms look better than ever, while also enhancing volumetric effects like fog or clouds. All this accompanied by bug fixes and improvements in the balancing of skills and characters. With this new patch, Larian’s team demonstrates its commitment to a video game that, they have already warned, still has a lot of work ahead of it.
