“For us, the creation of an ultra broadband FTTH connectivity operator is the completion of the digital transformation offer, which represents one of the business models of the new business plan, he commented Luca Tomassini, president and CEO of Vetrya. “A future-proof solution for citizens, freelancers and companies. To carry out the project we have chosen Open Fiber, whose mission is that of build a future in which the new fiber optic technology can change the life of our country“stressed Tomassini.
“Through Voola citizens and companies, from small villages to large cities, will benefit from better performance of fiber optic links, which allow the maximum speed connection to the Internet and, at the same time, enable numerous internet services, Vetrya’s core business ”, concluded the president and CEO of Vetrya.
The partnership con Vetrya expands the portfolio of commercial agreements that Open Fiber has entered into with over one hundred operators. The marketing of services on the network created by Open Fiber is open in 185 large and medium-sized cities and beyond 2,500 small municipalities.
“The presence of Open Fiber, which with its wholesale only model makes a latest generation neutral network available to everyone, has meant that the telecommunications market has also opened up to other sectors” commented Mario Rossetti, general manager of Open Fiber. “In recent months, several operators such as Vetrya have decided to enter the fixed market, and it is no coincidence that they have chosen to use the FTTH network to develop their services, which is the only one able to accommodate technological evolutions. that will be developed over the years “, concluded Rossetti.
