MOSCOW, 27 SEPT – Russian President Vladimir Putin told Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, in their various talks, that NATO expansion in Ukraine means “crossing the red lines of Moscow”. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this when asked to comment on Lukashenko’s statement that the NATO expansion issue was discussed in talks with Putin. “The question of the potential expansion of NATO infrastructure on Ukrainian territory has been repeatedly mentioned by President Putin,” Peskov said. When asked what Moscow and Minsk can do in response to such a move by NATO, Peskov noted that it would be “actions aimed at guaranteeing the security of the two states”. Tass reports it. (HANDLE).
