Abnormal heat all over the country in this early weekend. The high pressure field consolidated over Italy is in fact associated with an ascent of hot air from North Africa which reported temperatures above seasonal averages, with values from summer flavor. In the Islands, thanks to the winds of Scirocco – say iconameteo.it meteorologists -, it will even be possible to exceed 30 degrees. This new anomalous climatic phase will continue tomorrow for most of the central-southern regions, while in the North and in Tuscany i temporal, even of strong intensity.
Weather for the next few hours
Stable weather but with some cloudiness present since morning in the North-West, denser in Liguria and Piedmont, in western Tuscany and eastern Sardinia. On the plains of the Northeast, the cloudiness will tend to thin out in the course of the day. No significant rainfall is expected until the evening.
Temperatures above the norm of the period in almost all regions, with highs up to 28-30 degrees in the central Tyrrhenian regions and in the south, and possible peaks of 32-34 degrees in the islands.
Winds: moderate Scirocco on the western seas and on the Strait of Sicily, weak on the Adriatic and Ionian.

In the north, scattered rainfall with a reverse character, extending from the evening also to the extreme Northeast, less insistent on western Piedmont, locally accompanied by thunderstorms on the Po Valley.
