After the weak results of the last few weeks, RB Leipzig urgently needs to win a weekend. Dani Olmo will not be able to help, however.
Jesse Marsch announced on Friday at the press conference before the game against Hertha BSC that the Spaniard would not be available to his team in the coming weeks. In the last game against 1. FC Köln (1-1), the midfielder tore a small fiber tear that he only felt after the game.
Due to the injury, Olmo will not only be out against Hertha, but also in the following duels against Club Brugge and VfL Bochum. Luck in misfortune: Since then there is an international break, the Spaniard can use this to fully regenerate.
With Amadou Haidara and Lukas Klostermann, who recently also complained of muscular problems, Marsch was able to give the all-clear. Both actors will very likely be available over the weekend.
There was also an update on Marcel Halstenberg, whose ankle lesion turned out to be much more stubborn than initially assumed. Marsch expects that his protégé will only be able to start team training in November. It will therefore be a few weeks before his comeback.
