Last year Hyrule Warriors: The Age of Cataclysm was released, ** the canonical spin-off of the Zelda saga in general and The Legenf of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in particular ** which represented a new timeline within of the saga and that gave us a new look at the well-known characters of the Wii U and Nintendo Switch title.
Under this premise, being this game the best-selling musou in the video game industry, the title announced the launch of an expansion pass, which would have two parts, the first arriving last June, while the second would be launched sometime in the late years.
For this reason, in the last Nintendo Direct held recently, the content that we will see in this expansion was shown, which receives the name of The Guardian of Memories and will have new story cinematics. You can see it in the following trailer:
It is worth mentioning that these new scenes will be like the original game, even arriving bent, as you can see in the trailer. Also, in the new story we will see the continuation of the known ending, showing scenes such as Daruk celebrating Ganon’s defeat, the Cataclysm.
The Guardian of Memories will arrive on October 29
However, it seems that peace in hyrule won’t last long, as you can see how the characters face the forces of Evil again, with Ganon’s malice returning.
All this being said, new playable characters have been confirmed, these being on the one hand Prunia and Rotver, who will fight together.
Also, regarding history, they add:
- Kakariko village rescue.
- Battle of the Goponga Village
- Among other.
Likewise, the colosseum stage and new combat skills for existing characters, so that those already known may have a new aspect when it comes to fighting.
Finally, it should be noted the release date of this second part of the expansion pass, the chosen date being the next October 29th. Therefore, there is just a little more than a month left to close this chapter of the Zelda saga.
