At the beginning of September 2021, the Riva Belle Beach in Ouistreham, Normandy, was the setting for the third edition of the Normandy Beach Race.
The Normandy Beach Race, due for its third edition in 2021, is a free event on the beach of Normandy. In early September, the Riva Belle Beach in Ouistreham set the stage for a three-day meeting for classic motorcycles and cars, speeding along the 200-metre beach. The participating vehicles must be from before 1947, but otherwise there are no real rules. No chronos are taken and no prizes are handed out, everything revolves around delicious hot-rods and old-fashioned driving pleasure – albeit spiced with attractive flag girls and spectacular night runs.
For this edition, organized on September 10, 11 and 12, 2021, approximately 40 motorcycles and 40 vintage cars from 13 different countries were present. Including Belgium, represented by Matthias van Brussel with his beautiful FN from 1931. Also present: a Belly Tank Racer, a Dodge Baquet, a Bugatti Type 51 and a Griffon. Now pictures say more than a thousand words in this one, so don’t forget to check out the picture gallery.
