Two points from four games and 18th place in the top Italian division. These are statistics that one would certainly not associate with Juventus Turin. However, this is exactly the status quo of the old lady after the fourth game day of Serie A.
After the 2-2 draw against Udinese Calcio, the 0-1 defeat at home against newly promoted Empoli and the 1-2 away against SSC Napoli, the first league victory should now come against the severely weakened Milan.
But once again the Bianconeri failed to bring the early lead by Alvaro Morata over the time. Because after a corner from Sandro Tonali it was ex-Frankfurt Ante Rebic who made the final score 1: 1 and made Allegri burst.
Allegri: “… and they want to play for Juve!”
As some media report, Juve’s successful coach is said to have yelled “Holy shit, and the (players) want to play for Juventus”. The nerves are again on the nerves of the Italian record champions, who had in the meantime regained self-confidence after the 3-0 victory over Malmö FF in the premier class.
After the Lombards conceded, there wasn’t much left of it. The Rossoneri earned one scoring chance after the other, so that in the end the Turin team were lucky with one point, especially after the great chance that Kalulu had missed.
