As Julian Nagelsmann announced, Kingsley Coman had a heart operation. The FC Bayern coach explained the intervention with a precautionary measure.
At the press conference on Friday before the upcoming Bundesliga match between FC Bayern and VfL Bochum, Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann revealed that his player Kingsley Coman recently had to undergo a heart operation.
“Kingsley was operated on yesterday. He had a small, slight additional heartbeat, a slight rhythm disturbance. For a short time, he sometimes had less air. That is why we did a long-term EKG and this procedure,” said Nagelsmann.
Despite the initially emotional message, the 25-year-old Frenchman will soon be able to return to the field.
“On Tuesday he will be doing cardio training again and will not be out for more than one and a half to two weeks,” said Nagelsmann to defuse the situation.
Accordingly, there does not appear to have been any further complications.
