The opportunity for Jack Wilshere to get a new club is still quite open. Now, his former club Arsenal offered him to re-strengthen the team. However, the stage is still in preliminary talks between Wilshere and Arsenal.
The Gunners coach, Mikel Arteta had stated that Arsenal’s door would always be open to Wilshere. The 29-year-old player left Arsenal in 2018 and joined West Ham United.
Unfortunately his career after leaving Arsenal did not go too smoothly. With West Ham United he only played 16 times in the Premier League during the 2018-2020 period. Then with Bournemouth he only played 14 times in the league, before finally being released by the team at the end of the 2020/21 season.
“I spent most of my time at Arsenal, and I gave a lot for the club. To hear that their door is always open for me is a great thing,” Wilshere said as quoted by Goal.
“Being able to train with world-class players is something I really want. I’m sure we’ll be communicating with someone from the team over the next few days.”
