The Grita México 2021 tournament has registered some very media and interesting signings. On this list is the hiring of Héctor Moreno, who returns to Liga MX to play with Rayados de Monterrey. The experienced player of the Mexican National Team comes from playing for Al-Gharafa of the first division of Qatar.
On his return to Mexican soccer, the central defender acknowledged that, in the sporting arena, playing in the Asian country was not the best decision. In this sense, his signing with the royal squad is motivated by a primary objective: to reach the 2022 World Cup.
After his arrival in Monterrey, after participating with El Tri in the 2021 Gold Cup, Moreno affirmed that he will work to reach the World Cup tournament and that the Rayados offer him all the tools to achieve his goal.
“When I made the decision to come here (Rayados) it was something very fast. I loved the city, everyone spoke wonders to me. The club, the facilities it has, the facilities it has. I have the greatest illusion of being in the next world, then, to get to a club where you have all the tools, where I can keep myself physically as well as possible “
