The mix-up due to a blackout that forced entry to be suspended for a quarter of an hour
Genoa – The concert has started at 9.30 pm, as scheduled, splitting the minute. But the beginning of Francesco De Gregori’s live performance, at the Porto Antico, was not followed by all the spectators who bought the ticket (from 74 to 40 euros the cost of tickets, as reported on the Porto Antico website) to follow the author of masterpieces such as “Generale” and “Rimmel”.
Blame for a blackout which took place around 21.10 in the area, when dozens of spectators were still queuing to enter the concert area of the Arena del Mare. The electricity went out for a short time, between 10 and 15 minutes, but forced the organizing company of the event, Joe & Joe, to temporarily suspend inputs for security reasons.
“There was a blackout and for safety reasons, since there were only emergency lights, we had to suspend the entrances for 10-15 minutes – he explains Marco Poggioni, of the Joe & Joe company – We then reopened the entrances but a bit of a queue had accumulated, and the artist chose to start the concert anyway on time ».
