When he arrived in the middle of the 2020/21 season, Thomas Tuchel was already able to bring about big changes for Chelsea. Because, he was able to improve the performance of the Blues by helping win the Champions League.
Tuchel, who managed to improve the appearance of the English capital team, of course made himself ambitious to undergo his first full season with Chelsea, according to his game scheme.
Therefore, the German passport coach is claimed to be willing to give a second chance to Blues players who were loaned out to other clubs last season, such as Ross Barkley, Danny Drinkwater and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Despite having promised to do so, Tuchel also stated that some of his senior players, who have often been sidelined by the Blues, had asked to leave Stamford Bridge.
“I’ve never experienced this before. This is new, but I’m not afraid. Kin, I want to know how the mentality (players who had loaned Chelsea),” said Tuchel.
“Because, they left their families and some of them want to stay at the club on loan. So, I don’t really have a chance in trying to keep all those players,” he concluded.
For now, the names of Tammy Abraham and Danny Drinkwater are potentially leaving Tuchel’s team, because they both feel they don’t have full confidence to prove their talents.
