Mayor Tecnimont has been awarded a contract for the construction of a polypropylene unit and a linear polyethylene unitb based on EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) Lump Sum Turn-Key, as part of the expansion program of the industrial complex of Repsol di Sines, a company Spanish company active in the oil & gas sector, at its headquarters in Portugal.
The value of the operation is approximately 430 million and includes all engineering services, supply of equipment and materials, installation and construction activities, to which, optionally, commissioning and start-up activities can be added. The completion of the project is expected by 2025 and the polypropylene and linear polyethylene units will have a capacity of 300,000 tons per year each.
