It took almost two years but in the end Aaron Kaufman made it, he turned one Ferrari F12 berlinetta into an authentic monster of the road, bringing the power of the racing car from Maranello to 1.500 CV. An extreme tuning, made for the YouTube channel Daily Driven Exotics which saw the mechanic present the project for the first time in 2020, except having to slow down the work due to the pandemic.

The idea of increasing the power of the F12 berlinetta came to the experts at Daily Drives Exotics after buying the Cavallino supercar for $ 300,000. Tested in a few sessions on a kart track, they decided they wanted something more from their Red and so on they entrusted it to Kaufman’s skilled hands to install two turbochargers. The well-known mechanic, however, immediately had to face the biggest problem of all, that relating to the space in the engine compartment, as told by Kaufman himself in a video that shows part of the work done. In the end, the problem was solved through some technical modifications and the creation of two holes in the hood. The original V12 engine, capable of delivering 740 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque, allowing the Ferrari F12 berlinetta to go from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of over 340 km / h h, was thus increased to 1,500 hp, more than double the original power.
