Barcelona are still trying to sell some players in order to get leeway in paying player salaries. The latest, Clement Lenglet is reportedly being sold by the team this summer.
As quoted from Sport, Lenglet actually did not want to be kicked out by the team considering that his contribution and presence in the team was needed. However, the economic difficulties experienced by Barca forced them to sell the player.
So far, many clubs have reportedly been interested in signing Lenglet. Several English clubs such as West Ham United and Everton are said to be very interested in anchoring the defender, who is now 26 years old.
In addition to the two teams from England, AS Roma is reportedly also eyeing Lenglet to be brought in. The Capital Wolves are said to be holding discussions with Barca regarding Lenglet in the near future. Even a few weeks ago the barter scenario had emerged.
Barca are said to want to replace Lenglet with Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini. However, the idea is unlikely to be accepted by Rome. Meanwhile, for the transfer of the player, Roma has prepared 15 million euros.
