Although many people believe that the life of streamers is perfect, the truth is that these personalities must also fight against the risks and disadvantages of fame. That is precisely the situation of Sweet Anita, a popular content creator who is the victim of harassment by a section of her community.
In a chat with the medium HuffPost, Sweet Anita, who broadcasts Apex Legends and other games on her Twitch channel, she confessed that she is upset that she discovered that there is an NSFW community on reddit that is dedicated to sexualizing her.
As if that wasn’t enough, the streamer also found Discord groups where members upload edited photos of her naked and clips from her live broadcasts that focus on her intimate parts.

Unfortunately, despite Sweet Anita’s efforts to shut down the Reddit and Discord forums, they are still active and increasingly popular.
Sweet Anita: those people literally ruin my streaming experience
It is important to note that Sweet Anita, who currently has 1.7 million followers on Twitch and 1.36 million subscribers on YouTube, never appears on camera in suggestive clothing or does content of a sexual nature.
“It doesn’t matter what I do or how I dress, they do that to me. [sexualizar]. I don’t even take my clothes off in front of the camera and yet I am a very successful porn star to them. Those people literally ruin my streaming experience, ”explained the popular content creator.

Of course, this very unpleasant situation affects Sweet Anita’s mental health, which is why she is already considering the possibility of leaving the world of streaming at some point and returning to her career in wildlife rehabilitation.
“The mental cost of being at the mercy of those people for the rest of my life I just couldn’t bear,” Sweet Anita said.
Unfortunately, online bullying is just the tip of the iceberg of content creator problems. In 2019, she reported on social media that a follower slept outside her home and threatened her with a knife on her way to a store.
He has also gone from planning a short visit my town, to moving to a place 4 minutes from me permanently. I’m very used to the lack of protection from the police at this point, I guess I’ll have to get used to seeing him around too.
