The prosecutor, who has long been bringing his jewels to Paris (last Donnarumma), has now expanded to the French Riviera, with Kluivert, Stengs, Benitez and Thuram
It is certainly one of the protagonists of the summer market. And not just because of Donnarumma. In Ligue 1, in fact, Mino Raiola also influences the destinies of Nice, owned by the ambitious English billionaire Ratcliffe, where he now has four customers. One more colony than that of PSG owned by the Emir of Qatar, where the former Rossoneri was last placed, even at the expense of some past criticism.
A couple of months ago, in fact, the Italian-Dutch had branded the French one as the “worst of the main European leagues”. Resolutions, those released to the Spanish newspaper As, then corrected during the race: “It is a judgment that reflects a stereotype in football, but not my thinking. And the very competitive character of the last season also demonstrates this ”. In fact, PSG lost the title to Lille, but in the meantime it has also strengthened thanks to the intervention of Raiola who surprisingly placed Donnarumma in Paris. Where also Verratti, the young Simons and the other goalkeeper Areola are part of the same team.
The PSG, however, is a sort of fiefdom of Raiola which has exploited its ambitions of expansion by bringing us in the last decade Ibrahimovic, Maxwell, Van Der Wiel, managing the career of Matuidi and the young Georgen, also placing Bakker, now sold to Leverkusen, and also Kean, on loan from Everton last season. But in the meantime, the agent has also cultivated ties on the French Riviera. A few kilometers from his Montecarlo, where he resides, Raiola has expanded his tour with Nice. In 2016 Balotelli moved us, hoping to raise him after the flop at Liverpool. The experiment worked halfway. But a first pawn of prestige for the club that in the meantime passed under the ownership of the English Ratcliffe who intends to transform it into one of the PSG contenders, at least for the championship.
Thus, at the court of Galtier, which last year led Lilla to the title, two other Raiola clients arrived: Kluivert on loan from Rome and the other Dutch Stengs, from Alkmaar. In Nice, the Italian-Dutch agent also leads the careers of goalkeeper Benitez and the promising midfielder Thuram, son of Lilian, who, however, could soon migrate to the Bundesliga. The “Raiola” derby between Nice and PSG is scheduled for December 1st.
