FC Schalke 04 are not planning with Nassim Boujellab this season. The 22-year-old midfielder ingrown should collect match practice with the competition in the second division.
According to the club, Boujellab was loaned to FC Ingolstadt for one season, and his contract, which ran until 2022, was extended for another season. “With his individual skills and extremely high flexibility, he fits in perfectly with us,” said Ingolstadt squad planner Malte Metzelder about the transfer.
“The Schanzer are a young, family-run association where I can develop myself further, but also want to take on responsibility,” said Boujellab, meanwhile, explaining his new role. “The discussions with those responsible and the conditions here on site convinced me very quickly. I want to show what I can do and I really want to attack with the team.”
Boujellab played 34 competitive games for Schalke and is a three-time national player for Morocco.
