Electronic Arts made great use of the past EA Play Live, a presentation in which they shared a lot of news about their upcoming games. Unfortunately, one of the most anticipated projects by fans was not at the event, the new Dragon Age, and apparently fans will have to wait a long time to learn more about the project, as it is far from debuting.
Electronic Arts had warned that games like the new one from Star Wars, the new Mass Effect and the new Dragon Age they would not be at the event. This was especially daunting for fans waiting for the new Dragon Age, as this game was announced in 2018 and would already take many years in development.
However, that does not mean that it is ready to be finished. We say this because renowned insider Jeff Grubb (via VentureBeat) mentioned that sources close to the project revealed to him that it is at least 2 years from its launch, in other words, the game would be ready until at least 2023.

It would take a long time for Electronic Arts to talk about the new Dragon Age
Grubb mentions that Electronic Arts would be waiting for the development of this game to progress further to begin promotional or marketing work, which would likely occur until 2022.
The good news is that the informant refers that some online service model would not be implemented to the game, but that it is still considered as a game based on the narrative for a single player, although that does not mean that the title would not have a multiplayer element in line, especially when the previous delivery of the franchise, Dragon Age: Inquisition implemented it.
There is no doubt that the development of the new Dragon Age it has been prolonged. The title was announced in 2018 and Jeff Grubb had reported that the project was 3 years from completion; that is, in 2021, but with this new premiere window offered by Grubb, the wait from its original announcement until its debut would be 5 years.
In case you missed it: quiet, the development of the new Dragon Age progresses favorably.
As in other similar situations, we recommend that you take this information as something unofficial, since neither Electronic Arts nor BioWare have spoken about it. Grubb contacted a company spokesperson to question him about this, but was only told that Electronic Arts has not announced the date and has no plans to announce it yet.
However, you should also take into account that this information comes from Jeff Grubb, an informant who has proven to have reliable sources, especially with projects related to Electronic Arts.
