This title was to be Mother 3, the sequel to Nintendo’s acclaimed RPG.
At the beginning of July, a fan of the saga Mother attended a Japanese auction, where they put up for sale a CD-ROM de Nintendo, of the year 1998. In it, was footage of the canceled title for Nintendo 64: Earthbound 64.
The video is only 25 seconds long, and has no audio.The CD began to be sold at 18 dollars, but the number shot up in a few moments, being Zen, the fan in question, who got the product, for $ 357.
Next, we leave you the footage captured by Zen himself from Earthbound 64. It is not the first time the world has appreciated the gameplay of the canceled RPG, but the video does feature material that had never been shown.
This trailer belongs to the Nintendo content of your event, Spaceworld 1997. Previously, we had only seen Earthbound 64 footage from 2 sources: an old capture from IGN, and the showroom featured at Spaceworld 1996.
