Zeeheldenstraat name out
Brother Wouter said he thought it was ‘a nice plan’. “I would like to evoke Halsema: throw out a Zeeheldenstraat name and come up with a beautiful Peter R. de Vries boulevard.
He indicated that he was not interested in a statue or monument for his brother, but for ‘Peter R. de Vries.’
The chance that it will come to that soon does not seem very high. The rules for street names dictate that a street cannot be named after a person shortly after his death.
