The potential for interesting and large transfers is allegedly going to happen in the transfer market this summer involving two La Liga clubs, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. The two clubs are allegedly going to barter players.
Fabrizio Romano as an expert on European football transfers, said that there was a chance for Barcelona and Atletico to barter players involving Saul Niguez and Antoine Griezmann. The two players reportedly have agreed personally, just the two clubs are looking for an agreement.
“Barcelona and Atletico are in advanced talks for a swap deal between Saul and Griezmann! Both players gave the green light in recent hours,” Romano said on Twitter.
“Barca and Atleti are currently negotiating a price tag. Barca want a transfer fee. Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in Saul if the deal is cancelled.”
The exchange opportunity for players is unique, not for Saul, but for Griezmann, who in fact has only played for Barcelona for two years after moving from Atletico. Moreover, the two clubs are direct rivals in La Liga.
