The remains of three relatives of the president of Paraguay, Mario Abdo Benitez, were found among the rubble of the collapsed building in Florida on June 24, Chancellor Euclides Acevedo confirmed.
“Moved by the news, I want to share through you with the public that the bodies of Sophia López Moreira, Luis Pettengill and the youngest of the children were found, and they are in search of the (other) two girls (of the couple) and the nanny, “Acevedo told reporters.
Sophia López was the sister of the First Lady of Paraguay, Silvana López Moreira, who after the collapse traveled to Miami with their parents awaiting the recovery of the remains of their relatives.

The mother of nanny Leidy Villalba, who worked for the Pettengill-López Moreira couple, also traveled.
At least 64 people died in the collapse of the 12-story building in Surfside, Florida, north of Miami, while 76 people remain missing, according to the balance as of Thursday.
