The name FZ-X it had been deposited at the end of 2020 in India and initially it was thought of as a small adventure given the final “X”.
Especially since the original FZX, the 1985 four-cylinder 750 that followed the V-Max 1200, had no dash in the middle in its abbreviation.
Now the bike has been presented in India and it is a neo classic in some way similar to “ours” XSR125 and which derives from the FZ 150 model already on sale in India.
But in this case it is a simpler model in the technique – and naturally cheaper – starting from the single-cylinder engine of 149 cc which is a two-valve cooled air, with fuel injection and five-speed gearbox.
The power is of 12,4 cavalli a 7.250 revs and maximum torque of 13.3 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
Unlike the XSR125 the frame here is in steel tubes and the fork it is traditional (41 mm and with rubber bellows) instead of inverted.
Behind the suspension is with central shock absorber and the wheels from 17 inches they are braked by single 282 and 220 mm discs with system ABS.
There are three colors: matte black, ocher yellow and blue (with saddle – comfortable for two and tall 780 mm from the ground – orange in contrast); the lights are full led and digital instrumentation is possible connect to the smartphone.
The price starting from the equivalent is contained 1.330 euro.
