Closing the 2020/21 season by only winning the Spanish King’s Cup, Ronald Koeman’s Barcelona continues to desire to strengthen the composition of its squad by bringing in new players in this summer’s transfer window.
Currently, the Blaugrana have secured the services of Sergio Aguero, Eric Garcia, Emerson Royal and Memphis Depay. Even though they have shown their activeness in buying players, the club is in fact still not willing to stop looking for a new name to bring to the Camp Nou.
Because, Italian Football has reported that Barca are eyeing Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne who played impressively by collecting 19 goals in 35 Serie A matches throughout the 2020/21 season.
In addition to being interested in bringing Insigne because he is sharp in scoring goals, the Blaugrana began to take an interest in him, after seeing the 30-year-old player who never signed a new contract with the Partenopei.
Insigne’s contract, which ends in 2022, means that Napoli could immediately release him if Luciano Spalletti’s club did not want to lose him for free.
