The Electoral Tribunal of Mexico City (TECM) already received 131 of the 136 challenges presented by various actors against 13 of the 16 elected mayors, majority deputies and multi-member deputies, as a result of the election day last Sunday 6.
According to the total resources received at the time, the Electoral Institute of Mexico City (IECM)All that remains to be done is to send the TECM five files related to 32 of the 33 multi-member deputies; the other legislator is that of the migrant deputy, which no one contested.
Among the demands on the assignments of multiple deputies, the one of the still vice-coordinator of Morena in the local Congress, José Luis Rodríguez Díaz de León, who insists that the 12th place that he still had minutes before the opinion was approved, to be occupied by Carlos Cervantes Godoy.
The morenista alleges that he obtained a greater number of votes than Cervantes Godoy, but ignores that although two hours before the opinion was approved, he was still in 12th place, it was because the Head District of Iztapalapa did not count four thousand votes in favor of Carlos Cervantes.
This was what caused Rodríguez Díaz de León to be removed from the list at the last moment, who also describes the appointment of Isabela Rosales Herrera as “illegal”, because he obtained a lower percentage in the votes, but does not consider that the procedure was for equality of gender.
However, it will be up to the TECM magistrates to classify the legality or inadmissibility of the demand of the vice-coordinator of Morena, who warns that he will exhaust all legal resources, since his intention is to repeat in the local Congress.
Another demand that stands out from the rest is that of Elizabeth Mateos Hernández, who disagrees that the PVEM violates the gender equality measure, having registered and approved by the IECM Manuel Talayero Pariente, as a multi-member deputy, when he was listed as a substitute for Jesús Sesma Suárez, who won in District 5 as a majority deputy.
The problem is that Sesma Suárez, who is also president of the PVEM in the capital, headed the list of multi-member deputies, but when he obtained the victory by majority, the party determined that his replacement should occupy the place of Jesus, thus leaving Elizabeth Mateos out which was in place two.
In addition, the former head of the Iztacalco delegation for the PRD alleges in her lawsuit that the PVEM violated gender equality, since the agreement is that if there are two places for a party, it must be a woman and a man, which was not respected by the toucan party.
In the same condition is the PRD, who of the two multi-member places it obtained, the first was for the still coordinator of that party, Víctor Hugo Lobo Román, and as number two they appointed Ricardo Janecarlo Lozano Reynoso, when it corresponded to a woman : Paula Andrea Castillo Mendieta, who was registered as number three in the pluris list of the Aztec sun.
In other words, the 25 challenges against the assignment of multi-member deputies that the IECM received and that, at the latest, will reach the TECM in their entirety this week, are from militants of a party against itself; they will be trials of their former candidates against elected candidates.
Regarding the 111 challenges that they presented before the IECM, against the elections of mayors and majority deputations, in their entirety they are already in the hands of the TECM, so this week they will begin to be distributed among the magistrates to issue the corresponding sentences.
