After appointing Massimiliano Allegri as the new coach, Juventus began to move quickly to increase the strength of its squad in the 2021 summer transfer market, the first step taken by the club was to extend the loan period of Alvaro Morata.
Not satisfied, Allegri still wants to add ammunition on the front lines, one of the players included in the shopping plan is Manuel Locatelli who is currently defending Sassuolo.
Juve’s interest in Locatelli seems to be quite serious, according to the latest report from Goal, the Turin-based club have made an offer worth 30 million euros. Not only that, they also included Radu Dragusin in the deal.
Unfortunately, despite having made an offer, Sassuolo did not just let go of their star players, they are rumored to be selling Locatelli only if there is a club willing to pay at least 40 million euros.
Manuel Locatelli has performed quite well throughout the 2020/21 season, he has successfully appeared in 34 matches, while now at Euro 2020, he has already collected two goals and led Italy to qualify for the round of 16.
It is worth waiting for which club Locatelli will finally choose if he leaves Sassuolo, because apart from Juventus he is also reportedly included in Real Madrid and Chelsea’s shopping plans.
