The Health Secretary reported that until this Saturday, June 19, Mexico accumulated a total of 231,151 deaths from Covid-19.
This means that, in the last 24 hours, the country registered 192 new deaths from coronavirus.
What’s more, Mexico added 2 million 475 thousand 705 positive cases for this disease, by reporting 3 thousand 964 infections in the last day.
It also counted 4 million 414 thousand 867 negative cases.

The first ten entities that accumulate the highest number of cases are: Mexico City, State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Nuevo León, Jalisco, Puebla, Sonora, Tabasco, Querétaro and Coahuila, which together make up more than two thirds (67%) of all accumulated cases registered in the country.
Mexico City continues to be the entity with the most accumulated cases in the country, representing 27% of all registered infections in the country.
With these figures, Mexico ranks fifteenth in the world in number of infections and fourth as the country with the most deaths from the pandemic, behind the United States, Brazil and India, according to the US Johns Hopkins University.
Vaccination against Covid-19 in Mexico
As of this Friday, June 18, 16 million 177 thousand 3 people have the complete vaccination scheme, representing 59% of the total of those who have received the biological one.

In total, 27 million 543 thousand 142 people living in the country have received at least one dose of the vaccine; this represents a 31 percent advance in immunizing people over 18 years of age.
On Friday they were applied 453 thousand 176 doses, which added to those that have been supplied since December 24 give a total of 39 million 623 thousand 088 vaccines in the country.
About 11 million started their vaccination scheme, which is equivalent to 47%.
