Domenico Cubeda won the 51st Verzegnis Sella Chianzutan, second round of the Italian Hill Climb Championship held in Friuli at the wheel of the 3000cc Osella Fa30 Zytek. The driver from Etna covered the two race climbs along the 5640 meters of the track in the Carnic Alps with a total time of 5’01 “38 (race-1: 2’31” 00; race-2: 2’30 “38) . In addition to the absolute, also his victory in the E2Ss single-seater group, a category in which he became the Italian champion in 2018. The tricolor success captured in Verzegnis projects Cubeda at the top of the CIVM general classification, after the Sicilian driver had conquered the third step of the absolute podium on the Sunday before the Sarnano Sassotetto on the Avon wheeled prototype and edited by Paco74 with an LRM engine.
