Tribute to Paulo Gustavo
The City Council of Niterói approved on Thursday (13) the change of the name of a street in honor of Paulo Gustavo.
The proposal was approved by 18 votes to 3 in the Chamber of Niterói. Now, Rua Coronel Moreira César will be renamed Rua Ator Paulo Gustavo.
Before, the street was named after Colonel Antônio Moreira César, a military man born in 1850 with a reputation for being executioner and relentless with the enemies of the State, being known as “Treme-Terra”, “Corta-Cabeças” and “Antichrist”.
