The National Action Party (PAN) denounced before international observers of the Organization of American States (OAS) your concern about the interference of the president Andrés Manuel López Obrador on the elections, since “he serves as the main spokesperson for the Moreno campaign and carries out a counter-campaign from the National Palace against the PAN and the Va por México coalition.”
In a meeting with members of the OAS, the national president of the PAN, Marko Cortés He asked that on June 6 “America’s eyes be on the country”, that the Federal Executive is intervening in an absurd way in the electoral process, contravening the laws and precautionary measures imposed by the government itself. OTHER, some of which have been confirmed by the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judicial Branch.
“Every morning from the National Palace, making use and abuse of public resources, seems more like the campaign manager of the party of Brunette what head of Mexican state and here in our country that cannot be done, it is clearly prohibited ”, he pointed out.
He explained that the problem is that the president himself acknowledged with absolute impudence that he is involved in the election, because, according to him, he cannot allow a democratic regression; which is very serious, according to the electoral law.
“We see threats such as the extension of the mandate of the head of the Judiciary in our country for two years, which is clearly unconstitutional, but the president says that for him it is constitutional.”

Marko Cortés also pointed out that the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic is persecuting opposition candidates, opening investigation folders at the Ministry of Finance, the Financial Intelligence Unit and the Prosecutor’s Office itself.
Before the representatives of the OAS, the president of the PAN warned that there is a government that harasses, threatens and persecutes political actors, in addition to putting pressure on electoral bodies such as the National Electoral Institute (INE) and the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Power of the Federation (TEPJF) for the decisions they have made that are not to their liking.
Another concern expressed by the PAN leader is the issue of the security of candidates and society, where according to various media, at least 80 politicians or family members have been killed in this electoral process, the majority belonging to the opposition.

Present at the meeting were Santiago Cantón, who heads the OAS visitor mission; Brenda Santamaría, head of the OAS Electoral Observation Section; Yerutí Méndez, Deputy Chief of the OAS Foreign Visitors Mission in Mexico and Juan Pablo Pozo, Advisor to the OAS Foreign Visitors Mission in Mexico.
On behalf of the PAN, the national leader was accompanied by the head of the office of the national presidency, Laura Esquivel; the representative before the INE, Víctor Hugo Sondón; the Secretary of International Relations, Mariana Gómez del Campo and the Secretary of Communication, Felipe González.
