Halo Infinite has caused a lot of excitement in fans of the series, which has not diminished despite the delay in development. The characters in this new adventure were overshadowed by Craig the Brute, but you should know that the Master Chief will face many other opponents and today 343 Industries gave a glimpse of some new enemies of the Spartans.
Jeff Easterling, narrative writer for Halo At 343 Industries he took advantage of the official Halo Waypoint site to reveal a couple of villains apart from a vehicle and a weapon that will appear in the game and that will make everyone who is looking forward to the new Master Chief adventure happy.
For starters, we tell you that Easterling revealed the Scrap Cannon, which is a kind of turret that enemies can use anchored on the surface and can even dismantle it.
Additionally, the Razorback was revealed, a new vehicle that will be present in Halo Infinite and that it will be similar to the Warthog, only that it will be more spacious and robust, qualities that can be used in favor of attacking groups of Brutes.
In case you missed it: official toys of Halo Infinite they anticipated the return of the Banished.
These new enemies will appear in Halo Infinite
Since we are talking about these powerful enemies, we inform you that precisely what most caught the attention of the creative’s message was the revelation of 2 new variants of Brutes that will inhabit the Zeta Halo: Hyperius and Tovarus. Both, like the master swordsman Jega ‘Rdomai, will be faithful to Escharum and the Banished (known as the Banished in Spanish).
The first variant will be one that appears to be specialized in hand-to-hand combat judging by the hammer carried by the warriors belonging to this faction. On the other hand, not much is known about the Tovarus beyond that they will wear equally heavy armor, although with small design differences in the helmet, but it is clear that both variants will try to finish off the Spartans at all costs.
Unfortunately, 343 Industries only featured these updates with concept images, so we’ll have to wait to see them in-game. Easterling said that we will know more in the coming months. Meanwhile, we leave you with the art of the new Brutes.
