Yesterday, the community of Pokémon, the voice actors guild and all those fans of the games and animations of the franchise sadly received the news of the death of Diana Pérez, actress who gave voice to Jessie of Team Rocket. Before the unfortunate event, the fans did not take long to pay him a heartfelt tribute and have done so through Pokémon GO.

After the death of Diana Pérez, the actress in charge of giving a voice in Latin Spanish to Jessie from Team Rocket, was confirmed, the community got to work to pay tribute to her through Pokémon GO and in the hours after the actress’s death they have transformed their mobile game avatars with the outfit that Jessie wore in the anime and in some cases they have chosen to modify the face and hair to be the closest thing to the actress.

Although her dubbing as Jessie from Equip Rocket from Pokémon was the best known, Diana Pérez also worked as Kagura of Inuyasha, Luffy in the first dubbing of One Piece and Mitzy Nohara in the early seasons of Shin-chan.
In the same way, and as we reported yesterday, Diana Pérez also participated in the world of video games, giving her voice to Kaguya Ōtsutsuki in Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 and he also did the same with Julia Anderson in Kinect Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure.
