Hyundai Rally Team Italia presents itself at the start of the Adriatic Rally, first race of the 2021 Italian Rally Terrain Championship. Umberto Scandola e Guido D’Amore they will be at the starting line with the Hyundai i20 R5 managed by SA Motorsport. The team only decided at the last moment to participate in the Adriatic Rally due to the postponement of the Azores Rallye, which was supposed to open the European Rally Championship (ERC), the main goal declared by the team.
The presence at the Rally Adriatico, scheduled in Cingoli (province of Macerata), represents an excellent opportunity to test in the race all the new solutions developed with Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing in the winter and to become familiar with the new Pirelli tires. important technical supplier.

The Rally dell’Adriatico is the first of the six events of the Italian Rally Land Championship. The 2021 edition reached the record of entries with 121 crews, of which 40 at the wheel of the R5 cars that represent the top of the CIRT specialty.
The series will continue with five other appointments that include the World Rally in Sardinia, two intersections with the Italian Rally Championship in San Marino and Liburna (Pi), together with the Rally Città di Arezzo and Vermentino (SS).
