Genoa – They date back from 13,708 to 17.221 the infections today in Italy. A figure, however, down compared to that of Thursday last week, when there were almost 22 thousand new positives, even if the positivity rate compared to yesterday rises by 0.7%, reaching the 4,8%. The number of people admitted to intensive care is still decreasing, today 20 less than yesterday while 465 beds are being released in the medical wards. 487 deaths were recorded.

Stable infections in Lombardy, today 2,537, thirty-two less than yesterday, while the positive rate from 9.3 falls to 6.9%. But many or dead: 130, twenty-one more than yesterday. In Piedmont infections rising from 1,464 to 1,661 but with the positivity rate going down from 13.3 to 12.7%. Sharp drop in deaths from 79 to 23.
In Veneto infections increasing from 1,111 to 1,241 but with the positivity rate that loses just under one percentage point they go from 6.5 to 5.6%. Net drop in deaths from 67 to 24. Infections double from 576 to 1,075 in Emilia Romagna where the positivity rate also rises from 3.2 to 5.9%.
Leap forward of cases in Campania which went from 1,358 to 1,933 with a positivity rate also rising from 10.4 to 13.4%. There are 50 victims, 16 less than yesterday. In Tuscany positive up from 937 to 1,153, with the rate of positivity down from 7.8 to 6.9% while there are now 20 deaths, half of the 41 recorded yesterday. In Lazio, the positives rise from 1,081 to 1,240 but, albeit slightly, the positivity rate drops from 7.9 to 7.1%. There are 37 dead, 10 fewer than yesterday.
Negative numbers today in Puglia, where infections rose from 1,255 to 1,974, with a positivity rate also growing from 7.9 to 13.2%. There are 51 other victims, eight more than yesterday.
