This Thursday a new batch of Pfizer-BioNtech covid vaccines, with 487 thousand 500 doses to apply the second dose older adults.
The shipment was received this morning by the director of the National Center for Preventive Programs and Disease Control, Ruy López Ridaura, and the head of Birmex, Pedro Zenteno, who reported that Mexico has received more than 6 million vaccines against covid-19 from said pharmaceutical company.
“Together with the rest of the vaccines, both those that arrive already packaged, and those that are packaged in Mexico, we have received a total of 16 million 85 thousand 750,” said Ruy López Ridaura.

He indicated that another shipment will arrive tomorrow and that the Health Secretary designed a distribution plan to reach all municipalities to vaccinate older adults.
“We are waiting that in 10 days we can meet the promised goal,” he added.
