A very interesting new smart speaker is added to the Huawei catalog, it is called Huawei Sound and was born from the partnership with the French company Devialet, specialized in loudspeakers and amplifiers. This new speaker is wireless and Hi-Fi, but let’s see what it is.
The design is rather rounded and compact, focusing on the acoustics. We find four speakers, including a 4-inch 40W woofer and three 5W full-range speakers; working together, the speakers are able to guarantee remarkable acoustic performance, thanks also to Devialet’s Push-Push configuration, which includes two passive radiators that reinforce each other to counteract backwave vibrations. Thanks to this configuration it is possible to reduce the distortion of the noise resulting from the reverberation of the diaphragms, in order to have stability of the sound and of the high volume settings, up to 90 dB.
The bass is powerful and is supported by the Devialet SAM technology, in addition to the structure consisting of 1 woofer and two passive units, a complex acoustic model that exercises modeling and sound movement controls on the woofer and radiators, so as to guarantee simultaneous vibrations of maximum amplitude, as well as low frequencies without distortion and a wide dynamic range, with deeper, fuller bass tones as a result.
Technology is also present Devialet SPACE, which allows you to faithfully reproduce the typical acoustics of concert halls and theaters in a room, in a 360-degree surround style. Huawei then provides four sound effects to enrich the listening experience, namely Bass, Vocals, Hi-Fi and Devialet SPACE Soundstage.
Huawei Sound also supports Bluetooth LDAC codecs with transfer rates up to 990 kbps and is equipped with various connection possibilities, including UPnP and 3.5mm AUX-in connections.
It is not yet possible to buy it, but it is possible to pre-order Huawei Sound in Black color on the Huawei Store at the recommended price of € 199.90.
