The developer Nightdive Studios has earned an important place in the video game industry thanks to the remastering work it has done on delivering classic series. One project he has been working on in recent years is the remake of System Shock And today there was some very good news for all who are waiting for it, as development is progressing favorably and their latest demo has already been released.
System Shock It seeks to bring the original experience to modern platforms, but it is not a simple port, but rather it seeks to offer a reinvented experience, with new graphic details and polished gameplay, so it can be considered as a remake. So, don’t confuse it with System Shock: Enhanced Edition (which was also run by Nightdive Studios and was released in 2015), as this latest version features support for high resolution, control schemes, but with the same original material.
In the remake you can find new features, such as DLSS support, difficulty modes, a notes system, save options, a music generation system, a level in cyberspace, among many others.

You can now try the latest demo of the remake of System Shock
Since 2016, the studio has been working on this remake and, just as it had anticipated, today it confirmed that a new demo is now available on PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store and GOG. One detail that you should take into account is that this will be the last demo before its release, so you can now put your hands on a trial version that will be very similar to the final game version.
The best part is that everyone who pre-orders the remake on Steam ($ 412.99 MXN), Epic Games Store ($ 363.99 MXN) and GOG ($ 16.39 USD) will receive a copy of System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition completely free. But you should keep in mind that the remake will debut first and then the improved version of the original sequel.
“Development has not always been smooth, but the end game will be vastly improved as a result of the adversity we face. Thanks to everyone who supported us along the way. It will be worth it, ”said Stephen Kick, CEO of Nightdive Studios.
