In social networks a video of a pack of dogs that barked and bit a horse thief, detained by residents of the community of La Valla, in San Juan del Río.
The images show a man tied up and lying on the ground, while he is beaten by some residents and bitten by dogs. “I didn’t do this”shouted the subject, while the threats of the inhabitants were heard.
It wasn’t lynching
Initially, it was speculated that it is a lynching; however, local authorities they denied the version.
“It was not a lynching or a dog attack,” is the response of the Querétaro State Police to a video circulating on social networks in which the arrest of an alleged thief is denounced.

They argued that presence of the dogs was circumstantial; “the residents they did arrest the subject, but there was no lynching “. It was even stated that the subject had no injuries after the medical inspection.
For Internet users, the detained man was tied up and attacked by residents and dogs, after being identified as an alleged horse thief.
After the incident, the subject was presented to the Prosecutor’s Office to answer for his alleged participation in the crime of cattle rustling.
